Jessica trained as a Clinical Psychologist at Victoria University and went on to work in her own private practice she established in 2015.  Prior to completing the Masters of Clinical Psychology, Jessica studied an undergraduate degree in Commerce and Science through the University of Tasmania. Jessica is a registered board approved supervisor with AHPRA, and a member of the APS and ACPA.

Jessica offers clinical supervision to psychology Masters and Doctoral students on placement, psychology graduates completing a registrar program in Clinical Psychology, and registered psychologists.

Jessica offers clinical supervision from a psychodynamic perspective, with particular attention paid to the interpersonal relationship and transference/counter transference relations between patient and therapist. Jessica works with supervisees to assist them to understand their patients unconscious influences and how this is effecting their everyday functioning.

Jessica has also worked in community mental health where she completed training in Dialectical Behavioural therapy (DBT) and ran a group DBT program. Jessica has had training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and can provide supervision incorporating DBT and CBT techniques alongside a psychodynamic understanding.

Jessica supports supervisees to gain skills in psychodynamic psychotherapy, alongside skills in running a private practice, such as navigating the Medicare, TAC, DVA, and Workcover referral options, liaising with GPs and other health professionals, ethical and cultural considerations in private practice, self-care as a practitioner, and managing risk.

Jessica is experienced working with patients with a wide variety of presenting symptoms including depression, anxiety, grief, worry, stress, obsessions and compulsions, anger, post-natal depression and anxiety, low self-esteem, body image concerns and personality disorders. In addition Jessica supports people with relationships and parenting.
