Qualifications

Jessica has completed a Masters of Clinical Psychology, a Graduate Diploma of Psychology, and a Bachelor of Commerce and Science.
 
Jessica is a board approved supervisor.
 
Jessica is a current member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Therapeutic Orientation

Jessica has an empathic, thoughtful, considerate approach to building rapport and understanding her clients’ point of view. Jessica also strongly believes in evidence-based treatment and only uses treatment methods that have proven efficacy in scientific studies. Jessica is continually researching and learning about new and different ways to work with adults and adolescents, and is familiar with a range of treatment models. (More info on sessions here) Jessica’s psychotherapeutic orientation is Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Jessica has also had training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
